Stephen Hume: Public deserves answers on BC Ferries’ sale of Queen of Chilliwack

Steve says: Sure does sound fishy. The purchaser Goundat is native Fijian and marine engineer by training and spent more than 20 years in senior roles with BC Ferries. How was the selection process conducted to find a purchaser? How was a price arrived at? Was there an appraisal of the value of the ship? These and many more issues concerning this sale need to be answered. A public inquiry is needed!
