Natural extension of Highway 1 – Trans Canada

Trans Canada Highway ends in Horseshoe Bay and appears again in Departure Bay, Nanaimo to Victoria.

The Sunshine Coast Connector could be the natural extension of Highway 1, with the possibility to reach mid Vancouver Island. Trans Canada sounds nice, and certainly would give it some importance.

I beg to differ. The Trans Canada Hwy has nothing to do with the Sunshine Coast, upper or lower. If in doubt, please observe the Highway 101 Mile 0 marker in Lund. No mention at all of the TC. The TC in BC is designated as Highway 1, not 101. Incidentally Saltery Bay has no connection with either Nanaimo or Victoria.

Oh please build this connector as soon as possible, it would be a benefit for many people
